Exponential Leadership for Exponential Times

Our exposure to exponential graphs can be plotted on an exponential graph. The change of pace in the world has and continues to escalate and our old models of thinking, decision making, planning and leadership no longer work. We must discard old models and seek and embrace new thinking to cope with the world we are in now and the world that is changing around us.

Without a change of thinking about leadership, thought leadership and speaking, we run the risk of effectively leading our teams and companies into ruin.

In an exponential world, leaders need to think like futurists, be comfortable with not knowing, and learn to draw on creativity and instigate innovation. Most essentially, a futurist exponential leader needs to embrace constant change and never stop investing in learning.

Linear, local thinking has no place in a quantum, global world.

Speaker Bio

Charlotte Kemp is the Futures Alchemist, a futurist keynote speaker who works with organisations to co-create preferred futures. Charlotte is the President of the Professional Speakers Association of Southern Africa (PSASA), Vice President of the Global Speakers Federation and is a professional member of the Association of Professional Futurists (APF).

Charlotte is also the author of a number of books, including ‘Futures Alchemist’ which presents a narrative of how to use her Map, Compass and Guide model to navigate unknown futures.

Charlotte will be joining us virtually from South Africa.
