Over the last couple of days I’ve been visiting flood affected areas across the electorate. Some areas have been affected far worse than any previous flood in living memory.
Unfortunately, a number of homes close to creeks have been inundated with flood waters. Some local small businesses were hit very hard. The reports of how quickly the water rose are incredible.
The scene at Mitchelton Football Club is devastating … but I know the Mitchie spirit will come to the fore as they rebuild.
