About Us:
OWN (Qld) Mitchelton believes in a healthy positive approach to growing older.
In a multitude of ways older Australian women, Elders, have a wonderful amount of wisdom to contribute.
OWN may provide the means for women to support each other, explore other cultures and learn new understanding in the pursuit of continuing health and new friendship.
OWNQ Mitchelton Branch is a group of like minded women in a friendly, social environment.
Our interests are expanding our technological knowledge and some of our members are members of the HOW group (Housing for Older Women) working to keep homelessness away from women in our age group.
