The Hills & Districts Chamber of Commerce Inc. will be holding a ‘Meet the Candidates’ Forum at our breakfast meeting in the new year.
We are working with an approximate timetable that the election will be no later than May 2022, meaning the Forum would most likely be held on March 22, 2022, or a date (to be confirmed) in April 2022.
We are inviting all known candidates for both the Dickson and Ryan electorates.
We aim to provide an opportunity for chamber members and the wider community to question and hear the responses of candidates standing for election. We aim for a friendly and cooperative atmosphere in which the community can hear political discussion free of overly enthusiastic or disruptive attendees. We always provide an experienced chairperson to ensure that a balanced, cordial arena will provide all candidates with the opportunity to explain why they are offering themselves as candidates.
