There has been an exciting development that your members should not miss — the pre-launch of Round 3 for the Business Boost Grant is upon us.
The program aims to boost small business productivity and sustainability. Here’s the critical information, simplified for your convenience:
Key Dates:
Stage 1: Registration of Interest (ROI) opens 9am, 6 September 2023
Stage 1: Registration of Interest (ROI) closes 5pm, 12 September 2023
Eligibility:
Small businesses with 2-19 employees (headcount)
Application Process:
Registration of Interest (ROI)
Full Application
Registered Accountant’s Letter
Funding Details:
Grant type: Competitive (not all will be funded)
Amount: $10,000 – $20,000 (excluding GST)
Equal Co-contribution: At least 50% of the requested amount
Payment: After project completion and acquittal (12 months)
Supplier Requirements:
Maximum of 2 suppliers
Preference may be given to Queensland-based Australian companies
Project Scope:
Projects must focus on one or more of the following areas:
Future Planning
Specialised and Automated Software
Staff Management and Development
Project Costs:
Minimum total cost: $20,000 (excluding GST)
Maximum DYJESBT contribution: $20,000 (excluding GST)
Your contribution: At least 50% of total project costs
