Harnessing AI: A Hands-On Workshop for Small Business Innovation

This workshop structure aims to not only educate but also inspire small business owners to practically apply AI technology in a manner that is directly beneficial to their operations. It encourages active participation and ensures that attendees leave with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions about integrating AI into their business strategies.

The event will still be held at Arana Leagues Club. It will be a 2 hour event running 10am-12pm followed by lunch.
The attendance fee will be $25 for Members and $38 for Non Members.

Introduction (15 minutes)

• Overview of AI: What is AI and its various components

Module 1: Understanding AI Capabilities and Tools (30 minutes)

• AI Tools Overview: Introduction to a range of user-friendly AI tools that are beneficial for small businesses

Module 2: AI in Marketing and Customer Service (30 minutes)

• Customer Data Analysis: How AI can analyse customer data to provide insights into purchasing behaviours and trends.
  Personalisation Techniques: How to use AI for personalised marketing campaigns and improving customer engagement.
  Practical Exercise: Participants create a customer persona using an AI tool to tailor a marketing strategy.

Module 3: Using AI to supercharge Product Development and Innovation (30 minutes)

• How LLMs can accelerate the ideation process and support market analysis, helping businesses stay competitive and innovative.
• Product Development: Using an LLM to brainstorm product ideas, analyse market data, and create product descriptions.
• Use the LLM to generate a list of product ideas based on current market trends and customer preferences.
• Input competitor product data and ask the LLM to identify features lacking in the market.
• Have the LLM create detailed product descriptions and potential marketing slogans.
