In this hands-on workshop you will: - Get creative and build your vision. - Get focused and identify your single-minded purpose. - Get clear on where you are heading and develop your long-, medium- and short-term goals. - Get direction and create a road map to get you from where you are now to where you want to be.

Who should attend?Small business owners who want to start 2019 off on the right foot
Who is our host?Di Krome started her career as a Chartered Accountant, helping her clients with the money side of their business. Di loved working with numbers. They have their own special kind of magic. But for Di, when it was only about the numbers, there was no depth, no meaning. Something was missing.

When you are denying part of yourself, you feel incomplete, conflicted and stressed. After discovering what is truly important to her, Di is on a mission to help other entrepreneurs look deeper – to discover their truth, their purpose, what they were put on this earth for. And how to share their unique gifts with the world.

So they can create a business fuelled by purpose and live a life filled with both money and meaning.

One of the strengths of the Chamber is through supporting other local businesses.

What would happen if you could do one simple thing to dramatically grow someone else’s business in the Chamber for free, and take less than 5 minutes to do it?

It isn’t networking, buying their service or passing on a referral, but something so simple that you will wonder, “Why on earth didn’t I do this earlier for all the small business owners that I know”.

In this super practical session, Ingrid will show you how to High Five someone else’s business and leave a lasting positive impact.

Wednesday, 30th May 2018 - Business Showcase

the-common-good-logo

Prince Charles Hospital Foundation

From the precision engineering of artificial hearts to harnessing the power of hookworms to treat coeliac disease, they have got it down to a science!   In our lab tour we met some of the innovative and world-class researchers funded by The Common Good, an initiative of The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation.

We learnt about the Better Business Program, a network of like-minded local businesses who support the vital medical research projects here at The Prince Charles Hospital. Without the support of the local business community our researchers simply wouldn’t be able to complete their life-changing research.
