Our guest speakers this month come from the Moreton Bay Regional Council.
They will be speaking on how your business can be disrupted by events beyond your control and should this happen you need a plan.
The plan needs to cover what you will do to keep your business operating in the event of a disaster or unforeseen event. This is business continuity planning.
Donna Gregory has more than 20 years’ experience at a senior management and executive level in both the local and state government sectors. A Fellow of CPA Australia,
Donna has worked in a variety of managerial and leadership roles within Queensland Rail, Caboolture Shire Council and Seqwater before joining Moreton Bay Regional Council in 2019.
She will share the importance of business continuity planning and testing business disruption incidents so you can protect your business when a real event occurs.
Loretta Libke is a Local Government Manager with 13 years of experience managing large IT projects.
Loretta has been accountable for ICT business and has revised numerous policies and procedures including the revision of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans for Council’s ICT Department.
Loretta is well placed to share how events outside of your control (power failures/earthworks cutting fibre optic cable or a computer virus) can have a major impact on your business.
