The Chamber Executive and committee members have been out and about over the past few weeks including attending The Business Expo which was organised by Paula Brand.

The event was the first time the Chamber had attended The Business Expo and the observations from those who attended was that we should make this annual event a must on our calendar for 2020. It was an opportunity to introduce our Chamber to the business community and for our business community to meet us. As a result of our participation we received 6 new applications on the day and other requests for further information.

Our flagship event the Big Breakfast is fast approaching. Thank you to those businesses who have taken a sponsorship and to everyone who has donated raffle tickets. The event raises money for our local Not For Profits and we rely on donations to achieve the funds. To date we have sold 1 gold, 5 silver and 9 Bronze as well as a grant from Councillor Matt Constance of Moreton Bay Regional Council.

If you receive a request to donate a raffle prize please give it serious consideration, alternatively you could purchase a table and host some of your business colleagues. It is a great opportunity to capitalise on your business presence.
